The Longhorn Ironman 70.3 Triathlon will be held on October 17, 2010 at Walter R. Long Park (about 10 mintues from downtown Austin).



Swim 1.2 miles

The Longhorn Ironman 70.3 swim course is a one loop swim course in Lake Walter E. Long. The course follows a counter clockwise triangle direction.

Bike 56 miles

The Longhorn Ironman 70.3 bike course is 56 miles single loop course. The bike course runs through rolling Texas farmland, pass sprawling ranches, cedar-covered vistas, sunflower fields, prickly pear cacti and see why this is part of the big sky country. You’ll see more cattle than cars.
