The Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon will be the only race in the Great Lakes region that will award slots to the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Swim: 1.2 miles

The swim course is a point to point swim course. With a wave start at Monroe Street Harbor.

  • Fresh water
  • deep water start
  • average temperature 60-74 degrees
  • water depth: 10-12 feet

Bike: 56 miles

Single loop bike course will take triathletes through the scenic northern counties of southwest Michigan. The course roadways are mostly asphalt with some rolling hills throughout.

Out and back single loop run course, the run takes place on roadways and the Whirlpool Corporate Campus. The run is also known for its shade.
