Ironman Hawaii swim course follows a single loop pattern starting 100m from the beach. Pros will start 15 min before the amateurs. Following a clockwise direction athletes will swim 1.2 miles to the turn around Sail boat. Kailua Bay is home to this beautiful swim course and offers crystal clear waters with great visibility, which is way this is the only race that you will find under water camera men filming you.
