Swim: 2.4 miles The Ironman Canada swim course is a one loop out and back swim course. With a mass start on the beach from Okanagan Lake Beach in Rotary Park. out leg one 1612m turn right leg 2 450m right back home 1800m - Average water temperature on race day is 68 F / 20 C

Ironman Canada Bike Course: 112 miles
After exiting the water the riders start the bike course with a gradual climb up Penticton's Main Street. Apart from one significant hill at about the 10-mile point (McLean Creek Road), the first 30 miles of the course are relatively flat or downhill. It is one of the most beautiful bike courses in the world - the athletes enjoy incredible views of mountains and lakes almost throughout the ride.
