Ironman Wisconsin is a great spectator venue because the swim, bike and run courses are each two laps passing through downtown Madison. Travel note: Madison is only two and a half hours from Chicago.

Swim: 2.4 miles

The 2 loop rectangle swim course takes place at Lake Monona in downtown Madison. Athletes will complete the second loop in the water. Unlike CDA and Flordia were you get out of the water. A great place to watch the first leg of the race is from Monona Terrace designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
