Max Longree is a rising star from Germany. Known for his speedy marathons (usually sub-2:50), Max was the top amateur in Kona in 2006 for his age group and set the age group record (25-29) of 8:41:02. And this year he won his first IM victory at IM Louisville.

Typical Daily Diet
Pre-Workout: It depends what kind of workout follows. Morning pre-breakfast workout I just drink a black coffee. Before a long and intensive bike ride I eat oats and a protein bar. A lot of coffee also:)
Lunch: Typically the lunch is bewteen two workouts. Just light food like an energy bar and a coffee.
Snack: I don't snack I eat two to three BIG meals
Dinner: I love meat, cottage cheese, salads and a day before a big workout (for example a BRICK) I eat lots noodles or other food with many carbs
Dessert: Yogurt, fat free sugar free ice cream, catage cheese
Supplements: Most important is to take essential amino acids like glutamin, BCAA's, L-carnitine
